This triple pressed stearic acid is a derivative of Malaysian Palm. This additive will improve your candle's burning time and give an opaque or white appearance. Recommended use per pound of wax is 2-9 tablespoons.
When added to wax the beauty and quality of your finished candle is greatly enhanced. One teaspoon to two pounds of wax provides a brilliant sheen and opaqueness and a longer burning candle. It is particularly suited for producing glossy white candles.
This is a polymer product that is designed to raise the melting point of the wax making the wax harder and longer burning. Your candle will retain its translucent quality making it ideal for creating hurricane candles. Clear crystals also will help eliminate surface bubbles. Use one tablespoon per pound of wax. It is recommended that clear crystals be melted separately.
This additive is composed of highly branched hydrocarbon molecules, which disperse and bind oil and pigment molecules evenly thoughout the candle. It increases hardness and surface gloss. It improves color brightness and helps eliminate mottling (internal cracking and bubbles). Recommended use is 1 to 1 1/2 Teaspoons per pound of wax. Melt point is approximately 160 degrees.
This wax additive ensures easy release from either Metal or Plastic Molds. For Metal molds use 1/2 teaspoon per pound of wax. For Plastic molds use 1 teaspoon per pound of wax. It will not effect the color or burning qualities of the candle.
